26 X 31 '2" WIDE PROJECT' PICTURE FRAME ANTIQUED GOLD FINISH w/ BACK CHAMFER

Description

26 X 31 'Project' Picture frame, a 2" Wide, 1 1/2" Deep, moulding with an Elegant Back Chamfer (
cut away to make a symmetrical sloping edge a/k/a, a Bevel
). The finish is a Medium Dark, Antiqued Gold, but it is obviously flaking off. Starting from the back chamfer, we have a raised linear element/step leading to a lovely twisted scroll element, then dropping down to a flat panel and ending on the inner edge with a repeating bead decoration. The bones are solid and if someone wishes to take the time to refinish it, you'll have a real winner (and bargain) on your wall!  We date the frame from the mid 20th C.
