This MASSIVE European or British arts and crafts picture frame retains original bronze powder gilding with black glazed accents and features a HEAVY layer of gesso on white pine with LOTS of shrinkage lines.  Measuring 18" x 15" overall with 10 5/8" x 7 3/4" reveal and 11 3/8" x 8 1/2" back rabbet opening, it readily accepts an 11" x 8" artwork and would easily enlarge to accommodate a 9" x 12".  The molding is a hefty 4" wide x 2" deep and retains an old loop hanger on the back.  It shows repair and or loss with touch-up at all 4 corners and along the edges; over 90% of the surface is original.  The frame is sturdy and usable with expected miter gaps.
