    Description

    This is a wonderful estate find. Engraved view of the city of Hereford, depicting rural life along the picturesque riverbanks of the River Wye, circa 1700-1800. The carved walnut frame is gorgeous. Deep well with gilt finish interior. Measures 13 1/2” x 11 1/2” x 2” deep. Reads “ southwest view of the City of Hereford”. Left corner signed “G.F. Robson”. Right corner T. Jeavons plus some other letters I cannot discern. In excellent as estate found condition. Minor wear, fixing on engraving. Evident in photos.
