Antique Frame Tintype Man Photo Chinese Japanese Asian Lettering Embossed Copper

Description

Very detailed antique frame. Has Asian lettering at the top center and is adorned with birds and flowers.
Not an expert, but I believe it is metal with a copper coating.
The tintype photo of a gentleman measures about 8 1/2 by 6 3/8 inches. He must have been a wealthy man to have such a large photo.
The frame measures 7 1/4 by 9 1/2 inches.
In condition as shown. Some damage to the the bottom corners (see photos).
