Antique Late 19th C Decorated Oak Frame 19 x 24 Opening

Description

This is a handsome antique late 19th century decorated oak frame.
I would estimate it dates circa 1890s.
The overall frame measures 22 5/8 inches x 27 5/8 inches (57.4 cm x 70.1 cm). The back opening size measures 19 inches x 24 inches (48.2 cm x 61 cm). The molding width measures 2 inches (5.1 cm).
The frame is made of oak wood. The center strip is applied decorative composition.
There are a few scattered dings and nicks and some light general wear to both the oak wood and the interior decorative composition. Overall, this frame is in very good condition.
There is no glass.
It weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces (1.612 kg).
It has what I always look for in frames, that wonderful old world look!
