ANTIQUE late 19thc FLUTED HUDSON RIVER style Painting Frame, fits 18x15" inches

Description

This is an antique late 19th century painting frame with a fluted style rim indicative of the popular Hudson River  frames. It will fit a painting that is 18x15 inches, overall measures 24.5 x 21.5 inches, 2.5 inches in depth.   I believe it was originally gilt finish which you can partial see under the later gold paint finish which was done a long time ago.  There is a couple of normal wear nicks to the corner gesso.
