ANTIQUE OVAL CONVEX GLASS WOOD & GESSO FRAME ORNATE VICTORIAN COUPLE 16" BY 22"

Description

Measures approximately 16" by 22" oval outside and 12 3/4" by 18 3/4" inside with clear convex glass face. Original cardboard backing. Wood and ornate gesso decoration with original gold finish. Dusty from years in an attic and all I did was brush off the loose dust for photos. There is a small tear on lower left of portrait and some small dings on the gesso as shown in detailed photos. Issues mentioned can be either overlooked by buyer or easily repaired by anyone with semi-competent skills. Nicely detailed portrait of a young couple dating back to the late 1800's. No family history other than from Pee Dee area of eastern South Carolina. Great to display anything of your choosing or just to add an instant family portrait to your wall. Overall condition is rather good. My apologies for glare and reflections on photos.
