This is a gorgeous Antique Victorian Regency Walnut deep SHADOWBOX picture or mirror frame.  This frame measures about 15 1/2” across the back, about 17 1/2” long, and about 3 3/4” deep.  The front glass measures about 12” by about 13 1/2”.  The back opening measures about 10 3/4” by almost 11 1/2”.  The frame is made from beautiful walnut with white inside and a gold inside frame.  The outside of the frame has some small bumps or wear from over time that a good polishing might help.    The back came with a dark blue velvet covered cardboard with a wooden back cover.  I don’t think the cardboard is original and I don’t know if the wood is the original back of the frame.  I don’t know if the glass is original to the frame.  This beautiful frame was purchased from an estate with many other treasures.  The inside of the frame may smell a little musty and probably needs some airing.  This stunning antique Victorian  Regency Deep walnut oval SHADOWBOX frame appears to be in good antique condition, except as noted and is offered as is.
