    Description

    This is a great mid 19th century painted folk frame. Excellent original dry, crusty oxblood red painted surface with great oxidation. Solid construction with lap jointed, mitered corners, rippled glass, shingle backboard and period brass loop hanger. The frame is in excellent condition with great paint retention, minor wear and measures 8 1/4 x 10 1/4 with a 6 x 8 rabbet. Excellent little period frame.
