    Description

    This green Tonga 1 Paanga banknote was released by the National Reserve Bank of Tonga in 2008. Its front side bears a portrait of King George Tupou V and the coat of arms of Tonga. The reverse of the note depicts a whale leaping out of the water and a medallion. This paper bill has a dimension of 150 x 70 mm and is equipped with a 1.4-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized NRBT and a watermark that reflects King George Tupou V, an electrotype NRBT, and Cornerstones. This particular paper bill has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
