Vintage picture frame with applied real leaves motif; standing or hanging.

Description

The frame features applied real leaves in the square front of the frame. Brown shades in color; maybe decoupaged on. The frame has a glass insert with old style frog graphics which I dont think originally came with it but sold in as found condition. The backside is a chocolate brown textured backing. The center comes out with a standing mechanism in the middle. Three notches on sides of inner square rotate to take central mechanism out as desired. Rotate squares to keep in place. There are two brass ish rings on backside to hang in two different positions if desired. The frame is in good condition but it has age related issues; some leaves are missing spots where you can see underlying wood. Bottom left corner, bottom near right side, a few left side nicks upward to top in places. The top center this, missing a spot. Another nick nearby on top right and under it, a spot with a few crackle corner areas on top right. The middle angle, middle and bottom have a few crackle areas; some around inner square. The glass is dirty; needs cleaning. The backside has necks here and there on edge perimeter and on back. Theres a curling of the square rotating notches that opens center and nics on the standing part of the frame; backside on bottom and on top in some places. There is glue residue near right of the sand and top of stand. The rings are intact, brass is tarnished. Same on front of frame in between layers, nicks and age soiling. There may be others but I mentioned most. A cool frame, the issues are not as bad as they sound; I am just being honest. Measures 8.75" X 11". Inner window is 5.75" X 3 5/8".
